The Wangaratta Wizard - Abraham Ankers - could well have sealed the Ovens and Murray Football League's Morris Medal with a league-equalling five-goal haul against Yarrawonga on Saturday.
The Alice Springs superstar kick-started the visitors in the second quarter during the 17.10 (112) to 6.10 (46) win.
"Outstanding, he kicked four goals in the second quarter and we kicked nine, our midfield was outstanding and they got a good lick of the ice cream," coach Dean Stone offered.
He was joined by fellow midfield gun Joe Richards, while youngster Hunter Gottschling also impressed.
