Businesses learnt of the restrictions within hours of Saturday night's dinner service.
2640 Restaurant and Bar co-owner Joel Carey said there was a scramble to inform patrons for two booked-out dinner sittings.
"We had an hour and a half to cancel all of our bookings for Saturday night," he said.
2640 Restaurant and Bar will now offer breakfast and lunch takeaway and dinner and deconstructed cocktails for pick-up or delivery during the regional lockdown.

Albury restaurant Bistro Selle co-owner Matt Fuller said he had a full house booked on Saturday night.
"Within five minutes of learning about the lockdown, our customers wanted to support us in any way they could," he said.
Mr Fuller said they would offer an online takeaway menu Tuesday until Saturday - featuring entrees, pasta dishes and desserts - during the lockdown.
