The Murray Bushranger claimed the Alan Gray Memorial Trophy alongside fellow winner Oskar Faulkhead.
The Bushrangers were geared up to take on Geelong Falcons in Wangaratta on Saturday before another lockdown was announced for regional Victoria.

"In the long run they'll be better for the experience and more resilient than any other group," Wilson said.

While football has become uncertain this season, so too has other aspects of the young players' lives.
"The group that are most affected by it are the players that are studying year 12," Wilson said.
"They combine the unknowns with football and remote learning, and that becomes really challenging not having that routine."
With Victoria back in lockdown, it's unclear how finals may pan out.
