Deputy Premier John Barilaro said cases were present across many regional NSW communities.
"Be vigilant, any signs of illness please get tested and let's continue to vaccination," he said to regional residents," he said.
PREVIOUSLY:
NSW has recorded 818 cases of COVID-19 and three deaths.
Of which at least 47 were infectious while in the community. Only 47 were isolating throughout their infectious period while the infectious status of 714 is not yet known.
120 cases are linked to known outbreaks. The source of 714 remain under investigation.
586 people are in hospital, 100 in intensive care and 32 on ventilators.
160,000 tests were received in the 24 hours to 8pm.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said everyone was going through "the roller-coaster ride of emotions" as case numbers went up and down, but residents should focus instead on the number of vaccinations.
"Every state is going to have to learn to live with COVID," she said.
"... You can't keep delta out forever."
Ms Berejiklian said NSW was doing better than anticipated on vaccination rates.

It came as the Shepparton outbreak grew to 23 cases.
About 250 people attended a rally in Sydney on the weekend to protest the current lockdown, more than 4000 people attended in Melbourne and five people were arrested in Albury.
