Albury police have arrested a man after finding him hiding under a bed.

The 31-year-old was wanted on eight outstanding warrants related to domestic violence, traffic offences, escaping police custody, having a knife in a public place and acquiring a firearm part without authority to do so.
Officers have been conducting extensive inquiries to locate the man.
Police attended an Eastern Circuit, East Albury home at 10.30pm on Saturday where they saw a man retreat inside.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Police entered the home and found the man hiding under a bed.
They also located and seized a modified baton.
The man was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station, where he was charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic). The eight outstanding warrants were also executed.
He appeared in Wagga Wagga Local Court yesterday, where he was formally refused bail to appear in Albury Local Court today.
