The league announced earlier this week that it was planning to commence a three week finals series on September 11.

It also declared October 2 as the deadline to stage a grand final.
League vice president Phil Bouffler conceded the extension of the lockdown diminished the likelihood of a final series being played.
"It's not the news we wanted to hear," Bouffler said.
"Mathematically we still have time for finals and personally I haven't given up the ghost.
"You think that with your head but your heart says it is getting too tough to make it happen.
"But we will talk to our presidents before we plot our next move.
"The longer it goes, the harder it gets but it's not impossible."
