The 2019 flag holders will be remembered as the 2021 Tallangatta and District Netball Association A-grade minor premiers after finishing the shortened home and away season on top of the ladder.

However, Evans said she's glad the league decided not to award premierships this year after making the call to abandon finals.

"I certainly wouldn't have wanted it that way, so I'm glad they didn't do it like that," she said.

"We'd just feel a little bit hollow.

"Finishing first on the ladder doesn't guarantee that you're going to make a grand final and win a premiership.

"I've seen so many teams over the years win it from lower positions."

Evans hopes to retain the side for next season.

"The plan would be to keep as many, if not all of them, together next year and try and finish what we started," she said.

"We should be really proud and happy with what we've achieved for the season, but it's disappointing that we didn't get to finish it off the way we would have liked.

"We'll put that aside, regroup, and go again next year."

Other 2021 Tallangatta and District Netball Association minor premiers are Thurgoona (B and C-grades) Wodonga Saints (18-under and 13-under) and Mitta United (15-under).
