Border Music Camp opted to postpone its Border Spring Music Days, which was a two-day event at The Scots School Albury in late September.
Border Music Camp chairman Peter Cerexhe said plans for the inaugural spring event were under way before the Delta variant impacted NSW.
"The health and safety of our music-making community will always be our most important priority and for this reason, we have made this difficult decision," he said.

Mr Cerexhe said they looked forward to running the camp when it was safe.
"The positive message this year is that we've spent our time wisely connecting people through video in our far-flung communities with tutors and ensembles," Mr Cerexhe said.
The first Border Music Camp ran in 1975 with the first Virtual Border Music Camp in July 2020.
