The person was asymptomatic and is an essential worker who undergoes regular routine testing. They are now isolating outside the MLHD.
Contact tracing has identified two venues in Hay, one in West Wyalong and one in Tooleybuc.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Anyone who attended any of the venues listed on the specified dates and times is now considered a casual contact, so must get tested and isolate until a negative test result is received.

- West Wyalong Shell Coles Express from 11.15pm on August 27 to 12.15am on August 28

A spokesperson for the MLHD said the venues are currently being assessed by the Public Health Unit to ensure accurate assessment of risk for staff, and to determine if any had close contact with the case.
"SMS messages will be sent to people who checked in with the QR code," they said.
"We thank all the venues for their cooperation. All had COVID-19 business safety plans in place which has helped to minimise the risk to customers and staff.
"MLHD is also urging anyone in West Wyalong, Hay and Tooleybuc, or who has been in these towns recently, to get tested if they have even the slightest of symptoms and isolate until they receive a negative result."
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, sore throat and dry cough. Symptoms will generally appear three to four days after exposure to the virus but can be up to 14 days later.
The MLHD will deploy the mobile COVID testing clinic to enable anyone who is a close or casual contact, or any community member who concerned, to come forward to be tested.
Further details on locations and times for mobile testing will be released later on Tuesday.
