General Manager Peter Matthews said the hampers would be delivered in a contactless drive through system between 11.30am and 2.30pm on Friday at the FoodShare headquarters at 81 Wigg Street in Wodonga.
"The long-term impacts of restrictions imposed from the coronavirus and the extension of the current cross-border lockdowns is placing a significant strain on families in the Albury-Wodonga region," he said.
"With no sector, demographic or age group immune to the immediate and flow-on effects of COVID-19, this service will be accessible, without any need for assessment, to anyone that visits the drive-thru facility and seeks food relief support."
