Traditionally one of the busiest Sundays of the year for the hospitality sector, businesses on both sides of the border will be closed for dining on Sunday in line with statewide restrictions.
Instead Border restaurant and cafe operators have offered Father's Day grazing boxes, platters and cocktails to mix at home for pick-up or delivery.
Lavington-based M&S Caterers offered Indian-themed Father's Day grazing boxes this year for the first time.
M&S Caterers co-owner Minakshi Shrimali said the Indian street food and South Indian food packages had sold out on Friday morning.
"We only put out the message on Facebook a few days ago and we were swamped with orders at the last minute," she said.
"It's been a challenging time for restaurants and caterers since the start of the global pandemic.
"We're happy people can still celebrate Father's Day with different tastes, flavours and textures with our sweet and savoury items."
Albury maker of raw desserts Nine Canaries is offering Father's Day Self-Care Boxes this weekend.
The boxes comprise raw desserts, a Miss Macaron macaron (pink lemonade or Cherry Ripe) and The Lane Cellars craft beer.
