It comes as a precaution following the downpour the border received over the weekend, with some parts of the North East receiving record falls.
Access to the park is off-limits, while the Riverdeck Cafe, which has been providing takeaway services due to lockdown, will also close until the river is back to a safe level.
Mungabareena Road, between Doctors Point and East Albury, has also been closed until further notice.

Albury City Council has said they are working closely with water authorities to monitor the situation, as water continues flowing from the Hume Dam.
Other riverside parks remain open but residents are being urged to keep clear of flood waters and drains.
