EG Fuel Wangaratta (formerly Woolworths Caltex) and Boschs Edward Street Butchers are considered tier two sites, requiring people to get tested urgently and isolate until a negative result is received.
People should then continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.
The Department of Health and Human Services listed the two Wangaratta businesses on Saturday night.
Anyone who visited EG Fuel, 73 Tone Road, on Monday, September 13, between 8am and 9.30am or Boschs Edward Street Butchers, 2A Edwards Street, between 8.15am and 9am the same day should be tested.
In both situations, a person with COVID-19 attended the venue.
MORE COVID NEWS:
Victoria recorded 507 new local cases of coronavirus to midnight on Saturday and no cases acquired overseas.
"Sadly, one person with COVID-19 has died," health authorities tweeted on Sunday morning.
There were 43,441 vaccines administered and 58,619 test results received.
Victoria has 5262 active coronavirus cases.
Boschs Edward Street Butchers first alerted the public to the exposure risk last Thursday, with other North East food businesses also closing owing to concerns about exposures.
Public health director Lucie Shanahan said this restaurant was being treated differently to other sites because the deliver driver had spent a longer period there and been inside the kitchen.
Saturday night's listings follow the Wangaratta Shell Coles Express Service Station being declared a tier two exposure site on Friday night.
