According to the roadmap out of lockdown announed yesterday, once 70 per cent of people aged 16 and above are fully vaccinated, hospitality venues in regional Victoria can have seated service for fully vaccinated patrons at a density limit of one person per four square meters and a cap of 30 people inside and a density limit of one person per two square meters and a cap of 100 people outside.
IN OTHER NEWS:
When NSW reaches the same milestone, its hospitality venues will have the same density limits, but will not be required to cap patrons.
Wodonga's The Goods Shed owner Dan O'Connell said the restrictions should be related to venue size.
"Whether that has to completely match Albury that's netither here nor there for me," he said.
"(Now) we're allowed to have 10 people inside, but it's such a big venue with multiple rooms that it does seem a bit silly that we cant utilise those other rooms and have another 10 people in there or however they want to make the rules," he said.
