Education Minister James Merlino announced a $190 million packaged designed to keep schools open in the future.
The funding will cover air purification devices and ventilation changes.
Mr Merlino said the contract with Samsung had already been signed with the first units expected to arrive in week one in term four.
The government will conduct a home antigen testing trial for school students once the TGA gives its approval.
Vaccination for all staff at all schools and early childcare education or care will be mandatory.
Staff must all have their first dose by 18 October and be fully vaccinated by November 29.

Victoria has recorded 628 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths.
A woman in her 50s from Wyndam died as did a man in his 70s from Wyndam and a man in 80s from Darebin.
60,829 tests were received and 43,056 vaccinations administered in the 24 hours to midnight yesterday.
The daily tally includes the Wangaratta person who tested positive to COVID-19 yesterday morning after presenting to the Wangaratta Hospital overnight.
