The Geoff Duryea-trained sprinter is set to contest the $130,000 Benchmark 64 Hcp, (1200m) with regular rider Lewis German aboard.
Front Page has had two starts back this preparation after almost 12 months off the scene after a float mishap on the eve of last year's Kosciuszko.
The son of Magnus finished fourth when resuming last month in his first look at the Moonee Valley track.
He then finished tenth at his most recent start at Flemington in Group two company.
Duryea wasn't entirely happy with the performance and is hoping a drop in grade can spark a return to form for his stable star.
The Corowa based trainer is on the record of saying that he won't head to Sydney for The Kosciuszko unless he is confident that Front Page is somewhere close to the form he showed as a three-year-old.
Front Page is quoted as a $14-chance to break through for a win at Moonee Valley.
The listed winner faces some in-form sprinters including Lombardo and Rainbiel.
