AFL Grand Final, Saturday September 25, from 7.15pm AEST
The Border's football and netball finals may have been cancelled this year, but it's not too late to catch finals fever! The Western Bulldogs take on the Melbourne Demons this Saturday at Perth Stadium. So pick out your colours, shake out the pom poms and get a paper and pen ready now in case you scream so much you lose your voice! It's the second year in a row the AFL Grand Final won't be played at the iconic MCG due to COVID-19, but the spectacle, including half time entertainment musical act the Birds of Tokyo with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, is sure to be great. John Butler and Eskimo Joe will headline the pre-game entertainment.
MARKET WANDER

The Self Made Market is back in Wodonga! Stretch out your legs, take a bag and go for a wander...what will you discover? Take the kids, a partner, friend or just go alone, either way with live music and some scrumptious food options, it's sure to be a nice day out and a great opportunity to let your wallet show your support to local stores and salespeople.

Burraja Gallery, 560 Olive Street Albury, Saturday September 25, 10am - 1pm
If you're feeling a bit sick of looking at the same four walls for the last week, why not check out some NEW walls - walls covered with art! The Burraja Gallery is the only Aboriginal art gallery dedicated to artists who live, work or connect to the Border and North East region. The are some great First Nations works' on show at the moment. A convenient walk to Dean Street, why not make the most of it and grab a coffee or cake from local cafe while you're there too.
SPLASHING FUN
Corowa Splash Park, September Saturday 25 and Sunday 26, 7am - 6pm
The Corowa Aquatic Centre team have announced the centre's Splash Park will open all weekend to celebrate the school holidays. Although the permanent opening of the Splash Park is not until November, it's been opened specially for this weekend due to the warmer weather.

When things are open, as they are now, it's time to make the most of it ... who knows what could happen by next weekend! Keep in mind the Latin phrase 'carpe diem', which means 'seize the day', and let it guide your adventures this weekend. Hop in the car and go for a drive. But avoid any hotspots, of course!

In regional Victoria, can see friends and family outdoors in a public place in a group of up to 10 people. In regional NSW, you can have up to five visitors in your home at any one time.
