Oaminikka is set to tackle the feature sprint on Benalla Cup day, in the $50,000 Benchmark 70 Hcp, (1206m) with Blaike McDougall on board.
The winner of four of 10 career starts has drawn the widest barrier in the nine-horse field.
Oaminikka ran second in a recent trial behind stablemate Takissacod who won the Queanbeyan feature sprint when resuming last week.

"We didn't draw well but he is ready to go and he is a hard horse to place with his rating," Scott said.
"If he doesn't go to Benalla, he will probably have to go to Sydney and being first-up I'd prefer to race him somewhere closer to home.
"But he ran second behind Takissacod in the trial and she won at Queanbeyan first-up last week.
"It looks a tough race to win though and it's always ultra competitive when you cross the Border into Victoria.
"I'd just like to see him run a nice race.
"If Blaike can get a bit of luck and some cover he might be the one charging late.
"I've got no real expectations though first-up."
