Murrumbidgee Local Health District has confirmed another Albury resident has tested positive for COVID-19.
Overall four new cases were recorded in MLHD in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.
One of those cases was an Albury resident while the other three were from Hilltops shire.
Two of the cases are linked to known cases.
Murrumbidgee Local Health District confirmed the Albury case was linked to the case reported earlier this week and the newly infected person was already isolating.
Investigations and contact tracing are ongoing to identify all close and casual contacts and any venues of concern.
These cases bring the total number of cases in Hilltops LGA to 17 and Albury LGA to 5.

NSW recorded 1043 new cases of COVID and 11 deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.
Exposure sites have not yet been released.
Four new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
Of those who died five were woman and six were men.
One person was in their 40s, two in their 50s, one in their 60s, six in their 80s, one in their 90s. Ten people were unvaccinated, and one had received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. All had underlying medical conditions.
In the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday, 131,668 tests were received by NSW Health and 32,275 vaccines administered.
