Most staff who would normally be in the Smollett Street building were working from home, but the ATO confirmed just over 100 were on site at the time of the quake and evacuated.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Staff have been advised not to enter the site until approved by the ATO.
The office was built in 2012 and houses Service NSW on the bottom level.
