The scene of a five car crash at Borella Road and Young Street has been cleared by emergency services.
One driver appeared to have suffered from a medical episode and careened out of control about 9.45am on Monday.
Sergeant Steve Schausinger said the woman appeared to have lost control of her car near the Borella Road roundabout near Schubach Street.
Her car hit four other vehicles before coming to a rest near the Borella Road and Young Street intersection.
Multiple people witnessed the incident, which also left a large number of eggs strewn across the road.
The woman was taken to hospital.
Her condition and injuries were unclear.
The scene was cleared after about 30 minutes after causing minor delays to motorists.
Two vehicles had extensive damage.

The crash occurred about 9.45am and police, paramedics and firefighters remain on scene.
Westbound traffic is being affected.
Both cars involved sustained damage, but one is severely crumpled.
