The IDEAL combine was the result of years of research and development to create a "game-changing" combine that offers maximum efficiency and superior grain quality.
Utilising the full force of parent company AGCO's global resources, this is the biggest new harvesting product development project ever undertaken. It included production of 45 prototypes and six years of continuous lab and global field tests measuring performance in all crops and conditions.
With the brand new design, AGCO claims to have a number of industry leading features in the IDEAL combine, including the longest rotors in the industry at 4.84 metres. It also claims to have the largest threshing area in the business at 43.7 square-feet, offering 31 per cent more space in the main concave area than the nearest competitor.
The grain tank has a huge 17,100 litre capacity and the auger has an unloading rate of 210 litres per second, which means the full tank can be emptied in just 1.4 minutes. The new IDEAL balance grain-pan design catches and manages material gently and efficiently for a better and cleaner sample regardless of the terrain.
The IDEAL is fitted with mass acoustic detection sensors that sense grain weight and it means that you're able to determine exactly what sort of grain and load is going through from the front of the elevators all the way through to the chopper at the back of the machine.
For improved residue management, the new combines are able to treat straw and chaff either together or separately through the chopper housing and spread them evenly over a wide area. The IDEAL features a spacious Vision cab that offers plenty of room and great visibility out the front and around the machine.
The IDEAL offers an optional steering joystick instead of using a steering wheel. Getting rid of the steering column means operators have unmatched visibility to the front of the machine.
We are expecting delivery of the Fendt IDEAL 9 in mid-October. Chris and Mark welcome the opportunity to demo this revolutionary combine. Please contact Chris 0428 238 890 or Mark 0427 849 996
