Need to supply up this spring? AG Warehouse has all your harvest needs covered, but don't delay.

There could be a limited window of opportunity to secure your supplies as a slowed pace of manufacturing has led to more limited stock and uncertain weather might drive demand. Have all the supplies you need in your shed ready to go.

"In the Murray region there's uncertainty about the weather at the moment," says Peter Joyce, Store Manager at AG Warehouse's Corryong location.

"There are some people who are quite keen to start cutting but unfortunately if they do it's going to rot on the ground because it's not going to dry out sufficiently enough to be bailed."

AG Warehouse's Kiewa, Corryong and Eskdale locations have everything farms in the border region need to be harvest-ready. Pick up silage wrap and netting, silage covers, bailing twine, pit covers, inoculants and anything else you may need for a competitive price.

The COVID pandemic has led to supplies in plastic wrap becoming more scarce as manufacturing slows. Currently AG Warehouse has a good amount of stock on hand, however, if demand increases these stocks could be exhausted. To secure your supplies for the coming season get in early and place your order as soon as you can.

If someone's preparing to think about silage or hay, certainly I would do so sooner rather than later because stocks may in fact dry up or get more expensive going forward.

Peter Joyce

"There has been some concern about the availability of plastic wrap as the year goes on. Some of manufacturers in Europe are only working at half speed and some have closed down due to COVID. So the plastics themselves have become quite scarce," adds Mr Joyce.

"At this stage pricing has increased as the availability has gone down. If someone's preparing to think about silage or hay, certainly I would do so sooner rather than later because stocks may in fact dry up or get more expensive going forward."
