A probationary driver has had her car impounded and her licence suspended after being caught drink driving in Wodonga.

Police intercepted the woman's grey Mazda on Victoria Cross Parade about 4.45pm on Saturday.
The 21-year-old driver returned a positive roadside reading and was taken to the Wodonga Police Station.
She had a blood alcohol reading of 0.173
IN OTHER NEWS:
Her licence was suspended on the spot and she must face court for high-range drink driving at a later date.
She was also charged with using her phone while driving and failing to display P-plates.
"We would like to take the opportunity to remind communities that are emerging from long term restrictions and lockdowns, that road safety is still very important, and that police are out to make sure our roads are as safe as they can be," a police spokesman said.
