
Two new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Edward River local government area.
Murrumbidgee Local Health District confirmed an Edward River resident tested positive in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday and was included in today's state numbers.
Another Edward River resident has tested positive since 8pm yesterday and will be included in tomorrow's daily case numbers.

Both cases are linked to previous cases at the Deniliquin Hospital and have been in isolation during their infectious period.
The affected ward has undergone a deep clean and presenting for care at the Deniliquin Hospital poses no risk to patients.
There is a total of 45 cases reported the MLHD since the start of the current outbreak and one death. Including 25 in Hilltops LGA, nine in Albury LGA, eight in Edward River LGA, two in Wagga Wagga LGA, one in Griffith LGA and one in Federation LGA.
