
A man accused of assaulting a police officer in Albury during his arrest over a loaded pistol has been barred from fronting Albury Local Court.
NSW Corrective Services told magistrate Richard Funston on Monday that James Kenneth Kypirtidis, 34, was being held in isolation in jail and could not be taken to a video suite.

Kypirtidis's case was adjourned to next Monday, October 18.
It is alleged police uncovered a loaded pistol and MDMA when they searched Kypirtidis on Friday.
He faces a string of charges, including possessing a loaded firearm in a public place, using an offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention and assaulting police.
