The offender, or offenders, have hit the bins into the front and back of the vehicles on Church, Murphy, Lawrence and Griffith streets.
The incidents have caused thousands of dollars in damage.
IN OTHER NEWS:
There are concerns different streets will be targeted when different areas have bin nights.
"We're appealing for anyone who has seen anyone with wheelie bins causing some damage to come forward, and for people to check their CCTV footage if an incident has occurred in their street," Detective Senior Constable Brianna Gibson said.
"If they've got footage, it would be very helpful if they checked it."
