Thurgoona's week-long tournament has received around 650 entries.

"It's the first big event we've been able to host as it's generally been stableford events with people playing in pairs, it's nice to see people out there playing in fours and be able to come back and socialise afterwards," pro shop manager Luke Porritt revealed.
