The 683 acre property, Glenora, sold for $5.510 million at an auction conducted by Paull & Scollard-Nutrien in Albury on Friday to another local farming family.
It represents a sale price of just over $8000 per acre for the property owned by Bob and Sue Holdsworth for the last 30 years.
"It's a very, very good result and the vendors are very happy," agent Mike Scollard said.
Five parties bid on the property during the auction conducted at The Albury Club.

Meanwhile, a large family home on Monument Hill has gone close to becoming the latest central Albury home to sell for $1 million in the border property boom.
The five bedroom home in Affleck Street situated less than one kilometre from Dean Street sold under the hammer for $970,000 in the auction conduced by agents Chapman, Gould & May on Thursday night.
The new owners of the two-storey home with swimming pool are from outside Albury.
"It was a good result for both the buyer and vendor," selling agent Grahame Gould said.
"The buyer has been looking for a long time and are a really nice family.
"There was quite a lot of registrations so it was a sought after property."
Ray White Albury North's hot streak with Friday online auctions continued with another three homes selling under the hammer.
A Kemp Street, Lavington topped the trio of sales with a price of $389,000 followed by Rachel Court, Lavington selling for $275,000.
Bralgon Street, North Albury sold for $270,000 in the final sale.
