The result 73,501 test results were received in the 24 hours to 8pm on Saturday.
A total of 38,977 vaccines doses were administered in that period.
Meanwhile, cases continue to decline in NSW with the state recording 301 new positives in the past 24 hours.
Sadly, a further 10 people lost their lives.
The second dose vaccine rate has hit 80 per cent in NSW, which is set to lead to further easing of restrictions from Monday.
Almost 92 per cent of population over 16 in NSW has had one dose of the vaccine.

Furthermore, a member of the Lavington East Public School community has returned a positive test to COVID-19.
The school announced on its Facebook page on Saturday it would close to allow contact tracing and cleaning to take place.
All staff and students are asked to self-isolate until further notice.
