"Connor's a standout," reigning Azzi medalist Matt Seiter said.

"He won Osborne's best-and-fairest by a heap and they won every single game, so he's going to be in the votes.

"It's his foot skills and his ability to get the ball on the outside and deliver well.

"He's not super flashy but he he kicks the ball long and penetrates, which cuts up the opposition.

"I think he'll win and I think Jordy will come second because he's clearly Lockhart's best player and they won more than they lost.

"He's an accumulator. He gets 30 touches every time he plays and everything goes through him.

"If he has a good game, they win."

Two years on from claiming the league's top honour, Seiter defied a punctured lung and broken ribs to claim his third best-and-fairest at Brock-Burrum, tying with Tyson Neander.

"I played my best footy at the start of the year but we were losing games," he reflected.

"My role was the same and our midfielders made me look pretty good so it was very similar to 2019 but it was an interrupted season."

Jarrad Farwell could be an outside bet after a strong season for Henty.
