The Jindera Pioneer Museum is taking advantage of the states re-opening and loosening COVID-19 restrictions to host its High Tea on October 24, from 2pm to 4pm.
The event is set to be held in the museum's beautiful grounds (weather permitting) and will serve up everything one might expect of a rather posh afternoon tea, according to president Margie Wehner.
Food will be served on beautiful old-fashioned crockery, with linen serviettes, white tablecloths, flowers and, of course, then there's the array of tantalising treats.
And while Ms Wehner didn't want to give away "too many secrets", the high tea is set to include home-made savoury pumpkin and cheese scones with maple syrup and bacon cream, cream horns, and baby choux puffs with chocolate cream.
To ensure all necessary COVID safety requirements are met, the event will be held outdoors or in the machinery space if the weather is inclement.
All attendees must be double vaccinated, masks must be worn except when seated and QR code scanning on entry is required.
Tickets must be pre-purchased to attend.
Bookings can be made through www.trybooking.com/BUNLP or call Kath on 0407 357 082 if you can't go through a website.
Bookings close on Wednesday evening, October 20.
- Attendees will be notified of cancellation in the event of COVID-19 changes.
