Murrumbidgee Local Health District has reported 51 new cases of COVID were recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.

Of the new cases, 48 were in Albury - six of which were residents of a private aged care facility.
Two Edward River residents tested positive as did one Greater Hume resident.
"A significant amount of current cases are among those aged 12 to 24," the health service said.
"It is critical those aged 12 and above come forward for vaccination. Vaccination is proven to prevent serious illness of COVID-19 and lower the risk of transmission.
"NSW Health is working closely with the NSW Department of Education, the NSW Early Learning Sector and a private aged care facility to manage the current COVID-19 outbreak in the Albury LGA.
"Residents in Albury, Edward River and Greater Hume LGA's are urged to limit their movements in and out of the community at this time and widespread COVID-19 testing is critical."
Albury Wodonga Health has reported 11 new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours leading up to 8.30am this morning.
These include seven new cases in Wodonga and four in Wangaratta.
It comes as three more border schools have had to close due to COVID cases attended the premises.
