A Mercy Health spokeswoman said in a statement that its 14 COVID positive residents were being cared for in the home.
"To help pick up on any possible signs of infection, we are providing more frequent health and wellbeing observations of all residents," she said.
"We have the support of Mercy Health's Infection Prevention and Control Nurse Consultant and another experienced nurse and manager, all of whom are on site to provide additional clinical oversight for all residents."

The spokeswoman said Albury Wodonga Health was also providing additional clinical support.
The spokeswoman said Mercy Place staff were doing an incredible job caring for our residents, while wearing full personal protective equipment and taking every infection control measure to reduce the risk of transmission, but did not say how many staff members were fully vaccinated.
"In line with State Government directives, all of our staff have had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, with the vast majority being fully vaccinated," she said.
"While it remains optional for residents to be vaccinated, the rate of vaccination among our resident population is high.
"We are, however, providing vaccines to any unvaccinated resident who requests it.
"We urge everyone in our community to get vaccinated."
The spokeswoman said staff and residents had been tested for COVID-19 twice since our first positive notification on October 17.
"And we will also start to use rapid antigen tests in our home in coming days, following advice from the Public Health Unit," she said.
"This additional measure adds an extra layer of protection in the early detection of transmission in our home."
