Currently anyone outside the border bubble, or who leaves the defined border zone, is expected to quarantine for 14 days upon return to NSW.
Now Victoria has eased their border restrictions, the quarantine requirement is the final hurdle to free travel beyond the border bubble.
IN OTHER NEWS:
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet said he had spoken to Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews about easing the restriction.
He said the challenge NSW faces as a state was that travel between Sydney and regional NSW was not allowed until November 1.
"But I spoke to the Premier last night and we want to have that border open as quickly as possible and I'll have more to say on that shortly," he said.
