Albury-Wodonga has recorded 63 new cases of COVID.
Albury recorded 38 cases. Two cases were recorded in Berrigan, two in Greater Hume, three in Murray River and one in both Coolamon and Wagga.
Wodonga recorded 25 new cases of COVID in the 24 hours to 8.30am on Sunday.
Five cases were reported in Wangaratta and one in Indigo Shire.
In a statement Albury Wodonga Health said there was strong evidence of community transmission in Albury-Wodonga and Wangaratta.
"Unfortunately, COVID-19 is in our community and we need to be mindful of the risk it presents," the statement read.
"To help minimise spread, we ask that everyone limit travel and movement wherever possible.
"Please help keep yourself and your loved ones safe by continuing to practice COVID-safe behaviours, checking in when entering venues and facilities, getting tested if you have COVID-19 symptoms, and getting vaccinated."

Yesterday, 53 cases were recorded in Albury-Wodonga.
In Victoria, 21 cases were recorded in Wodonga, 11 in Wangaratta, and one in Indigo Shire.
In NSW, 32 cases were recorded in Albury, six in residential aged care.
Two cases were recorded in Berrigan, one in Greater Hume and one in both Edward River and Federation Shire.
A man in his 60s from Mercy Place died with COVID. He was fully vaccinated.
