The Corowa cluster has been spoken about for a number of years, with a host of clubs battling for players in the area.
Wahgunyah has lost five players to the Roos, whose home ground is just across the John Foord Bridge from the small town.
Jacob Beveridge, Lachie McGill, Deakin Clancy, Lachie Conboy and Adam Romey will join Rutherglen's Jarryd Hatton as the Tallangatta and District League players tackle the lift in level to the Ovens and Murray.
"These guys will add a lot of depth to our squad and there's plenty of potential to become regular senior footballers," Roos' head of football Craig Spencer revealed.

The Roos are flying after hosting their first function in almost two years with around 120 attending the presentation night.
Cam Wilson (56 votes) won the best and fairest from brother Damien (45) and Jarred Lane (44).
