Thurgoona Public School students have been sent home after a member of the school community tested positive to COVID-19.
At about 1pm, parents were asked to collect their children from school.

"We understand there will be issues with a swift pick up considering the size of our school," the school said.
"Please be patient with our staff and thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
"Further information will be distributed to families once contact tracing efforts have been completed.
"We are non-operational until further notice."
