"If they've got a dream of moving on and we can support that in any way, that's exactly why we exist.
"You can look at the down side of losing good players but it's the best problem in the world to have."
Torney, a centre-back, joined Murray at under-13 level and has been with the club for three years.
"My football's improved heaps, it's the best coaching I've seen in the area," he said.
"Our results against the Melbourne clubs have been phenomenal."

For goalkeeper Barker, it's been a seven-year journey to reach this point.
"I wouldn't be where I am without this club," he said.
"When I've made mistakes, they've helped me become a better player.
"Being a keeper is something different, I've got to use my hands and I can kick the ball longer.
"I love watching players like Leno and Neuer and hopefully I can play in England one day or the A-League over here.
"Having this chance to go to Melbourne for trials is so good.
"It's bigger and more pressure but I'm really looking forward to it and so are all the boys."
