Media Award is part-owned by several players and officials of Lavington football club including former president Peter Barwick.
Unfortunately for the owners, they aren't allowed trackside to cheer home Media Award as she races for the $4.1m winners cheque.
Media Award resumed from a 25-week spell at Randwick last weekend and finished midfield.
Barwick said the owners were looking forward to having a throw at the stumps in the lucrative feature with their Group 1 Australasian Oaks winner.
"I've been talking to the trainer and Chris is happy how she has recovered from last week," Barwick said.
"She didn't have a lot of luck last weekend.
"There isn't many suitable races for her in Melbourne so we thought we would have a throw at the stumps in Sydney.
"It's just a pity we can't go to Sydney to watch her and we are all disappointed.
"I'll just have to cheer her on from home."
Media Award is set to be partnered by Jack Martin and has drawn ideally in gate nine in the big field comprising 18 runners.
She is quoted as a $41-chance in pre-post markets.
"She has drawn beautifully," Barwick said.
"Jack has ridden her before earlier in her career, so he knows the horse a bit as well."

Media Award has also been nominated for the Railway Stakes and Kingston Town Classic over the Perth Carnival which commences next month.
However, Barwick said she was unlikely to contest the feature races with COVID protocols making it difficult to make the trip to Perth.
