These cells may bring large hail and the occurrence of a dangerous tornado.
The outback town of Biloela, Queensland, had a heavy thunderstorm on Tuesday, October 26.
The storm, yielding 57.4mm, took this month's total to 130mm, which is the wettest in October since 1987.
Biloela has been in drought for more than six years and this thunderstorm was a blessing to farm properties.
