More testing teams are being sent to Albury-Wodonga to help local health services Acting Chief Health Officer Ben Cowie has revealed.

Mr Cowie thanked the community for their efforts.
"We know testing demand has been very high in Albury-Wodonga and thank everyone in that community for coming forward," he said.
"We are sending more testing resources this weekend, more test kits and more teams to assist with demand and we have been working closely with NSW Health who are also providing support to the border area there."

In Albury, 24 new cases were recorded while 38 cases were uncovered in Wodonga.
Three new cases were reported in Wangaratta and one in Indigo.
Three cases were recorded in Murray River, two in Greater Hume and one in Murrumbidgee.
