Edward River's alarmingly low vaccination rates likely reflect an anomaly in data collection, rather than the true level of inoculation, health authorities believe.
Commonwealth vaccination data indicates just 67.4 per cent of people in Edward River local government area have had one dose of COVID vaccine and only 58.9 per cent were fully vaccinated.
NSW Health's vaccination data shows 80 to 90 per cent of residents in each postcode within Edward River had received one dose of vaccine.
