Jodie Ann Contacolli had been standing trial following the crash on Greta Road at Laceby on June 13 last year.
Speaking in the County Court during another matter on Thursday, Judge Michael Cahill said a positive COVID-19 case had led to the Wodonga trial being aborted.
His staff and others isolated but tested negative.

Judge Cahill said trials had been put on hold in circuit courts, but it was unclear how long they would be on hold for.
