
Police will not take any action after investigating the supposed use of a fake vaccination certificate.
Officers were told a woman had used the false certificate, showing she had been double vaccinated, at the Albury horse racing meeting on October 23.
Police have investigated the matter and found that no offence occurred.
"Following inquiries, officers attached to Murray River Police District spoke with a 37-year-old Albury woman on Wednesday, October 27," a spokeswoman said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It was determined that no breach of the Public Health Order had been detected.
"No further action will be taken."
Data released last week shows about 80 per cent of Albury residents aged 15 and over have been double vaccinated.
More than 95 per cent have received their first dose.
