Tongues have been wagging over the off-season that the Lions could be facing a chronic player shortage after the departure of as many as a dozen players.
Jacob Beveridge, Lachie McGill, Deakin Clancy, Lachie Conboy and Adam Romey recently signed with Corowa-Rutherglen.
The Lions are also yet to announce a coach to replace Kodee Lowe which has also fuelled the speculation.
Lowe has been targeted by several clubs after recently winning the Lions' best and fairest.
The four clubs in the 'Corowa Cluster' Corowa-Rutherglen, CDHBU, Rutherglen and Wahgunyah met earlier this month.
Nothing eventuated from the meeting which was a pre-arranged bi-annual get together.
Harvey admitted he had heard the rumours that were circulating about Wahgunyah but any merger talks were simply false.
"There's always rumours circulating around the 'Corowa Cluster', especially during the off-season," Harvey said.
"We have got an interesting little bubble where we live here.
"You are always hearing rumours but most of them are complete nonsense.
"We will be remaining as a stand alone club. Clubs met recently but that happens once every two years.
"We are always having conversations about our area."

Harvey said the club has signed several recruits and could also announce its new coach before the weekend.
"We have signed a few players who are returning to the club which we haven't announced yet," he said.
"We are close to announcing our coach as well.
"We made a conscious effort not to rush the decision.
"The new netball courts have just been completed and we held a wedding in our club rooms recently as well
"So despite all the doom and gloom you hear from rumours, I can assure you that it's not true.
"We have got a strong committee, financially we are sound and our thirds will have a really strong side next year."
