Farmer 10km west of Rand Edward Anderson said he'd done about two and a half days of harvesting canola before the rain set in.
"We've had about 40mm this morning and tonight (Wednesday) and potential a lot more on the way, unfortunately," he said.
"We've got such good crops this year and watching a lot of potential just leaving as we're just about to harvest is pretty annoying.
"If we get what they're predicting, we'll probably have canola windrows go under water with flooding ... then probably the header will be getting bogged through the rest of harvest."
Mr Anderson said he was expecting a lot of downgrades and losses after such a big rain event.
"We're hoping the canola doesn't lose too much test weight so it'll just be a few losses and then the wheat will probably go down from milling grade to feed grade," he said.
"We've got 70 hectares of lentils and they'll probably go a bit black and hopefully they can still be harvested, but they might be feed grade as well.
But Mr Anderson was said it was all part of farming.
"We've got good crops there so as long as the percentage loss isn't too high," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Farmer near Gerogery Stirling Moll said his harvest hadn't started yet.
"We're only windrowing canola," he said
"Waiting for rain to stop, so we can get some fine weather.
"We probably would have started later this week if we didn't get this weather."
Mr Moll said if the intense rain continued it would have an negative impact.
"It doesn't really affect us too much at the moment, because the wheat's only really just starting to ripen at the moment," he said.
"But if we get this kind of weather in a couple of weeks time we won't be that receptive to it."
