The series of mannequins, displayed at Art Partners Gallery on David Street, feature images of local advocacy, victim statements and symbols of survivors' strength.
A Friday night opening comes as the internationally recognised 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence gets underway.
Organiser Liz Marmo said the exhibition would run in lieu of the Step Out Against Violence Albury-Wodonga.
"I'm one of four on the committee; we had a meeting earlier in the year and felt logistically there was going to be an issue trying to get the march up," she said.
"Someone pointed out the artists we had on the committee, and I raised I had been working with mannequins.
"We didn't want we didn't want to stop the talk; we wanted to still bring awareness.
"Because if we keep the conversation open, people will listen."
Ms Marmo approached fellow artists Tammy Campbell and Julie Kruger to join in the exhibition, who brought their own experiences to the work.
They approached Jacinta Mirams at Art Partners Gallery, who supported the cause.

"Yes, we don't have the march, but we have these beautiful, powerful images," Ms Marmo said.
The exhibition opens at 5.30pm on Friday and attendees are encouraged to register through the Step Out Facebook page as numbers are limited.
