
Top three fancies Myrtleford and Wangaratta Rovers will start the eagerly anticipated 2022 season.
After COVID wrote off 2020 and last season was reduced to only 13 rounds, excitement is building of a league resurgence with a number of profile signings.
"After a challenging few seasons, we're really excited about the start of the 2022 season," O and M chairperson David Sinclair said.
Myrtleford and Rovers will play a season opening round, which will comprise only three games, on Saturday, April 2, with Wangaratta and Albury from 6pm.
The first round will be held on Saturday, April 9, including a break from tradition where Wangaratta will host bitter rivals Wangaratta Rovers, which is normally held on a standalone Sunday.

In other news, Easter matches will be spread over three days, but all at 2pm, while 2019 Lavington premiership coach Simon Curtis will meet his former club for Myrtleford in round nine.
