The Albury-Wodonga Doll, Bear and Hobby Show joined artists and resin creators in showcasing their work at the weekend in Chiltern's Goods Shed.
President Margaret Grigsby said her group had been doing doll making and repairs in the building all year.
"We figured because we couldn't have last year's show, and we weren't going to be able to have it this year, we could still have some open days," she said.
"When the doll show started 34 years ago, dolls and bears were the fashion, but things have change and we've diversified; we've got card-making and knitting."
The railway modellers' president Keith Grigsby said there were plans to bring in ship modellers and host 3D printing classes.
"We've only been here eight months and we started as a group of three people," he said.
"By encouraging other groups to join us, it's created a hub."
Indi MP Helen Haines opened the event on Saturday.
